Dear Mr. Griffin, I'm working on a currency article investigating what would happen if we worked on a set amount of gold, silver, or some other form of money. If we kept the amount at a specific volume, that money would be forced to represent the value of all our production. Would that be a bad thing for us, or a good thing? Should we allow the expansion of our money, or are we better off having a set amount stand for whatever we produce? Do you care to have some input on this?

Hello Larry.
The problem lies in phrases such as "if we kept the amount at a specific volume", "should we allow the expansion of our money" and "would we be better off with a set amount", etc. All of this reveals an underlying assumption that "we" or the state or some authority should have the power to manipulate the money supply according to one of these formulas.
I believe that the money supply should be determined entirely by the forces of supply and demand in a free market, so my answer is that I would not support any of the alternatives mentioned. If the free market were allowed to function, I believe the money supply would expand at almost the exact rate at which the population expands -- so that purchasing power would remain nearly constant or slightly improve over long periods of time.
No man-made formula will work, because all such schemes need to be enforced by coercion. Remove legal-tender laws, and the system will work for the benefit of all.'

Dems' 'don't impeach Obama' email backfires
This article by Drew Zahn of WND discusses impeachment. The information is good. In my opinion it should have beed done years ago after his first term. So what if the Senate doesn't convict the ruin-America Obama? Do it anyway to give us the information that the controlled news media has not. He would not have been elected a second time and we'd be better off. Americans would rather be told the truth. We have a bunch of "representatives" in Congress who do nothing and talk a lot.

Also, there have been many discoveries of cesium–137 in high concentrations in seafood caught in the Pacific and sold in North America. There have also been many reports of unexplained deaths among wildlife:

Killer whales are dying off the coast of British Columbia;

To me, it is frustrating. Every day I sit in a Democrat-controlled state with elderly people in assisted living who have no clue what has been happening to us. For the most part they don't understand how to turn on or operate a computer to find out. They read and believe the government-controlled news media. I try to share a different viewpoint with a few veterans, neighbors and friends.

The judge’s name is William Pauley III, regrettably my former classmate at Duke University, but also someone who has now protected a Democratic president who I suspect hopes will now appoint him to a higher post, perhaps even the Supreme Court when Justice Ginsburg retires.
The ruling of Judge Pauley, who found that the NSA’s grossly overbroad and unbridled collection of metadata on all 300 million-plus U.S. citizens is peachy keen, since the government has an absolute right to secretly spy on all Americans, is an outrage. Here are excerpts from his opinion, which he likely issued on a Friday to try to deep six critical media scrutiny.

General Petraeus about Our Military Today
Thanks to Jim for sending me these comments. I did not realize that there were so few veterans in our country, but I'm proud to be one of them.

Thanks to my fellow veterans.
I remember the day I found out I got into West Point. My mom actually showed up in the hallway of my high school and waited for me to get out of class. She was bawling her eyes out and apologizing that she had opened up my admission letter. She wasn't crying because it had been her dream for me to go there. She was crying because she knew how hard I'd worked to get in, how much I wanted to attend, and how much I wanted to be an infantry officer.
I was going to get that opportunity. That same day two of my teachers took me aside and essentially told me the following: “David, you're a smart guy. You don't have to join the military. You should go to college, instead.”
I could easily write a theme defending West Point and the military as I did that day, explaining that USMA is an elite institution, that separate from that it is actually statistically much harder to enlist in the military than it is to get admitted to college, that serving the nation is a challenge that all able-bodied men should at least consider for a host of reasons, but I won't.
What I will say is that when a 16 year-old kid is being told that attending West Point is going to be bad for his future then there is a dangerous disconnect in America, and entirely too many Americans have no idea what kind of burdens our military is bearing.
In World War II, 11.2% of the nation served in four (4) years.
During the Vietnam era, 4.3% served in twelve (12) years.
Since 2001, only 0.45% of our population has served in the Global War on Terror.
These are unbelievable statistics. Over time, fewer and fewer people have shouldered more and more of the burden and it is only getting worse.
Our troops were sent to war in Iraq by a Congress consisting of 10% veterans with only one person having a child in the military. Taxes did not increase to pay for the war. War bonds were not sold. Gas was not regulated. In fact, the average citizen was asked to sacrifice nothing, and has sacrificed nothing unless they have chosen to out of the goodness of their hearts.
The only people who have sacrificed are the veterans and their families. The volunteers. The people who swore an oath to defend this nation. You stand there, deployment after deployment, and fight on. You've lost relationships, spent years of your lives in extreme conditions, years apart from kids you'll never get back, and beaten your body in a way that even professional athletes don't understand.
Then you come home to a nation that doesn't understand. They don't understand suffering. They don't understand sacrifice. They don't understand why we fight for them. They don't understand that bad people exist. They look at you like you're a machine - like something is wrong with you. You are the misguided one - not them.

Thanks to my fellow veterans.
I remember the day I found out I got into West Point. My mom actually showed up in the hallway of my high school and waited for me to get out of class. She was bawling her eyes out and apologizing that she had opened up my admission letter. She wasn't crying because it had been her dream for me to go there. She was crying because she knew how hard I'd worked to get in, how much I wanted to attend, and how much I wanted to be an infantry officer.
I was going to get that opportunity. That same day two of my teachers took me aside and essentially told me the following: “David, you're a smart guy. You don't have to join the military. You should go to college, instead.”
I could easily write a theme defending West Point and the military as I did that day, explaining that USMA is an elite institution, that separate from that it is actually statistically much harder to enlist in the military than it is to get admitted to college, that serving the nation is a challenge that all able-bodied men should at least consider for a host of reasons, but I won't.
What I will say is that when a 16 year-old kid is being told that attending West Point is going to be bad for his future then there is a dangerous disconnect in America, and entirely too many Americans have no idea what kind of burdens our military is bearing.
In World War II, 11.2% of the nation served in four (4) years.
During the Vietnam era, 4.3% served in twelve (12) years.
Since 2001, only 0.45% of our population has served in the Global War on Terror.
These are unbelievable statistics. Over time, fewer and fewer people have shouldered more and more of the burden and it is only getting worse.
Our troops were sent to war in Iraq by a Congress consisting of 10% veterans with only one person having a child in the military. Taxes did not increase to pay for the war. War bonds were not sold. Gas was not regulated. In fact, the average citizen was asked to sacrifice nothing, and has sacrificed nothing unless they have chosen to out of the goodness of their hearts.
The only people who have sacrificed are the veterans and their families. The volunteers. The people who swore an oath to defend this nation. You stand there, deployment after deployment, and fight on. You've lost relationships, spent years of your lives in extreme conditions, years apart from kids you'll never get back, and beaten your body in a way that even professional athletes don't understand.
Then you come home to a nation that doesn't understand. They don't understand suffering. They don't understand sacrifice. They don't understand why we fight for them. They don't understand that bad people exist. They look at you like you're a machine - like something is wrong with you. You are the misguided one - not them.

Why couldn't Healthcare.gov validate Obama's identity?
This story is a little confusing to me. Possibly it tells of a government marketing effort, to let the public see Obama's staff easily signing him up for health insurance on Obamacare's web site. Instead, Obama was refused when his social security number couldn't be validated.

Federal Courts: Obama Partnership With Drug Cartels Deeper Than Weapons
If true, today's post on The Free Patriot by Brandon Walker sounds to me like Obama and Holder should go directly to jail for treason, not going past go, and not stopping to collect $200. A federal court in Texas has issued a formal opinion on the court case United States of America v. Mirtha Veronica Nava-Martinez. The judge, Andrew Hanen, presented his opinion from the case that threw open the doors to watch the travesty of justice that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the shear lawlessness of the Obama Administration. This goes way beyond the Fast and Furious weapons Scandal.
While most the Mainstream Media is concentrating on Duck Dynasty, a Federal Court in Texas was hearing a little unheard about case. It seems that the defendant, Nava-Martinez, had a little bit of work behind closed doors smuggling children from El Salvador into the United States to be given to illegal immigrants so that they could stay in the US with drug cartel money. The problem was after paying $8500 to smuggle a little girl out of South America to the US, the person in charge of smuggling the child got caught in human trafficking by DHS at the border.
Then the unusual happened. Instead of turning the human trafficker over to Mexico, or turning them around and securing the boarders, DHS delivered the child to the destination in Virginia!"

It authorizes massive spending, including $527 billion in base defense spending for the current fiscal year, funding for the war in Afghanistan, and funding for nuclear weapons programs.
The indefinite detention allowed by the original NDAA is still here, and it’s actually worse now, because there are provisions that will make it easier for the government to target those who disagree. Section 1071 outlines the creation of the “Conflict Records Research Center,” where the unconstitutionally obtained information that the NSA has collected is compiled and shared with the Department of Defense. The information, called in the wording “captured records,” can be anything from your phone records, emails, browsing history or posts on social media sites.
The New American reports in detail on the expansion of powers:
For two years, the NDAA included provisions that purported to authorize the president of the United States to deploy the U.S. military to apprehend and indefinitely detain any person (including an American citizen) who he believes “represent[s] an enduring security threat to the United States.”

HINT: “Michael Hastings’ final story, “Why Democrats Love to Spy on Americans,” was a searing take on the NSA snooping scandal, which Hastings described as “North Korea-esque.” Hastings pulled no punches as he linked the NSA scandal to the Department of Justice’s spying on reporters and the IRS abuse scandal.”
Call me the conspiracy theorist, but I can’t help but find it just a bit “OFF” that in addition to people who oppose Obama continuing to end up dead, a film crew just “happened to be there” at the time of the accident too??? Come on!

'I could not believe my eyes when I saw a photo of hundred law-abiding Americans waiting obediently in line outside of the Arapahoe High School, with their hands up, to be patted down by armed-to-teeth sheriff deputies in the aftermath of the shooting a few days ago.
That picture reminded me how insignificant We the People are in the eyes of the authorities and their enforcement agencies. Deprived of their Constitutional right to keep and bear arms, unarmed and defenseless subjects, the People were treated as if they posed a deadly threat to the sheriff and his deputies armed with assault weapons, many of whom in body armor and Kevlar military-style helmets, that apparently cared much more about their own safety than the safety of people that they were supposed to serve and protect.
I would expect a picture like that to be taken in a Nazi Germany of 1930s and 40s where the authorities did not try to sugarcoat their hostility to the regime’s real and imaginary adversaries. But in America? We have come a long way from the land of the free and the home of the brave to a socialistic-like system in which individual liberties are often referred to as loopholes or outdated reminiscences of the bygone era where the governments were for the people and not the other way around.
Our governments, apparently irritated with our stubborn refusal to give up our Second Amendment rights and to delegate our right to self-defense to the “trained professionals,” become increasingly impatient, if not outright hostile to the majority of Americans.'

Canada Busted Covering Up Spikes In Fukushima Radiation

One air traffic controller from another Northeast sector revealed to a 911 widow, that “FBI threats were made,” on both the personal and career nature: “You're ordered never to speak about what you saw on your screen during the attacks - and if you do, things will not go well for you and your family.”
Curiously, a large piece of wreckage was found in the entry hall but the public was kept from closely-observing what appears to be a sheared-off a piece of wing from a much smaller jet than a Boeing 757.
A group of military personnel and Federal Officials, in suits, tightly covered a piece of wreckage with a blue tarp and carried it away, to an awaiting truck. No reporters or independent aircraft experts have been permitted to examine any of the recovered aircraft parts.
Other government officials, who looked more like FBI agents, than rescue workers were also photographed, moving evidence around, immediately after the crash; they were bringing evidence to- and removing it from- a mass-murder crime scene, as if they had prior knowledge, within minutes after the Pentagon crash.
FBI agents quickly confiscated a videotape from a gas station security camera aimed directly at the exact point of impact, while recording the size of the plane and/or missile security camera video film from a nearby Sheraton Hotel and film from Virginia
Transportation Department freeway overpass camera now would have clearly shown a Boeing 757, if that is what actually hit the Pentagon, as claimed by the government.
Again, all were told not to discuss the matter.'

Details of the Obama forgery exposed
Obama has lawyers protecting his every step. That's their job. They have been busy trying to have cases against Obama dismissad.
But Doug Vogt and Paul Irey have written a book, called "From Forgery to Treason; The Destruction of the United Sates from Within." Vogt is filing a criminal lawsuit identifying a crime of treason against the US that Obama has allegedly committed, and that is a different type of filing that the judge may not be able to dismiss and ignore as were the judges in prior cases.

Deconstructing the NIST WTC 7 Building Report
The written account of World Trade Center Building 7 at the Architects & Engineers for 9/11Truth web site is understandable although technical. I found that the audio in the 8-minute video was difficult for me to follow because the narrator speaks with a British accent, making the emphasis points different from those spoken with an American accent.
However I totally agree that a new 9/11 investigation is required to set the record straight as to the technical points of the steel beams and columns.
Probably more important and potentially much more devastating is finding out what really happened that day. Was the American public being deliberately misled so people would get behind Bush in a war? What was Cheney doing that day? Why wasn’t Bush surprised at the news? How come certain foreign nationals were permitted to leave the country during the air travel shutdown? What were certain federal agency heads’ motivations? Was the event a false flag like the Gulf of Tonkin incident, which LBJ used to get our country involved in Vietnam, or like Pearl Harbor, where some sources say FDR had two years advanced notice of the attack. Will we have to wait 50 years for certain people to die, as in the recent discoveries of the JFK assassination, before the government releases classified information? The Warren commission was a poor joke. We haven’t heard enough about the details of the Oklahoma City bombing either. Who called people the day before and told them not to come in for work the next day?
Think back and ask yourself, who do you trust to tell you the truth? The news media? The government? Clinton? Bush? Obama? The new Common Core education for our young people? It seems that the deeper you dig the worse it gets.
