The Japanese government similar to our own, would rather lie to its people rather than tell them the truth. After all, we are mere simpletons and we can't handle it. We might panic and cause all sorts of dreadful problems and embarrassment to our government. I say tell me the truth, because that is often not as bad as the cover ups. 6-minute video.
