That was the conclusion today from the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Justice, after an investigation that spanned more than a year and a half.
The OIG investigation found that Attorney General Eric Holder was not aware of the strategy and tactics used in "Fast and Furious," and turned up no evidence that Holder tried to cover up the operation, or mislead Congress about it. Holder was held in contempt of Congress earlier this year for allegedly withholding documents about DOJ's "Fast and Furious" investigation from congressional investigators.

Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, one of the leading congressional critics of DOJ's handing of "Fast and Furious," issued a statement today, saying, "Operation Fast and Furious was the height of irresponsibility on the part of a number of people from the ATF Phoenix field office all the way up to the Justice Department headquarters. Wisconsin was a battleground that put public sector union workers in a bargaining position that allowed the unions to use the power of government to line their pockets and those of their members.
This sweetheart relationship was bankrupting the state. Republican Governor Scott Walker decided to take on the unions. Te governor and the Republicans won. The union thugs were angry can called for recall elections. Gov. Walker and most of the Republicans who were up for the recall won. The electoral process worked. The people elected to office made the laws that they were put in office to implement.
The state budget was saved.
Now we learn that a single judged has thrown out the entire process. “A Wisconsin judge on Friday struck down nearly all of the state law championed by Gov. This one is a little different...
Two Different Versions ...
Two Different Morals.
OLD VERSION
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE OLD STORY:

MODERN VERSION

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving.
CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food.
America is stunned by the sharp contrast.
How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?
Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green...'
Occupy the Anthill stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the SEIU group singing, We shall overcome.
Then Rev. Jeremiah Wright has the group kneel down to pray for the grasshopper's sake, while he damns the ants.
President Obama condemns the ant and blames President Bush 43, President Bush 41, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the grasshopper's plight..
Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.
Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.
The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.
The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.
The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous and peaceful, neighborhood.
The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.
MORAL OF THE STORY:
Be careful how you vote in 2012.

Obama's Second Term Transformation Plans
I received this from George today. Thanks much George. It is a May 12, 2012 email from Steve McCann, who writes articles for The American Spectator. Steve said that this is the most important e-mail he has ever sent. It is a scary view of what Steve sees life will be like if Obama wins the election. Of course, we could be under martial law anytime Obama feels like it. The laws and Executive orders are already in place.
It is extremely unfortunate that the Republicans ruined Ron Paul's campaign, but remember how Bill Clinton (Obama part 1) got elected when Ross Perot split the Republican votes with George Bush Sr. and gave the majority to Clinton. That's why it's critical that we don't split the vote against Obama.

The overwhelming majority of Americans do not understand that Obama's first term was dedicated to putting in place executive power to enable him and the administration to fulfill the campaign promise of "transforming America" in his second term regardless of which political party controls Congress. That is why his re-election team is virtually ignoring the plight of incumbent or prospective Democratic Party office holders.
The most significant accomplishment of Obama's first term was to make Congress irrelevant. Under the myopic and blindly loyal leadership of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats have succeeded in creating an imperial and, in a second term, a potential dictatorial presidency.
During the first two years of the Obama administration when the Democrats overwhelming controlled both Houses of Congress and the media was in an Obama worshipping stupor, a myriad of laws were passed and actions taken which transferred virtually unlimited power to the executive branch.
The birth of multi-thousand page laws was not an aberration. This tactic was adopted so the bureaucracy controlled by Obama appointees would have sole discretion in interpreting vaguely written laws and enforcing thousands of pages of regulations they and not Congress would subsequently write.
For example, in the 2,700 pages of ObamaCare there are more than 2,500 references to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. There are more than 700 instances when he or she is instructed that they "shall" do something and more than 200 times when they "may" take at their sole discretion some form of regulatory action. On 139 occasions, the law mentions that the "Secretary determines." In essence one person, appointed by and reporting to the president, will be in charge of the health care of 310 million Americans once ObamaCare is fully operational in 2014.
The same is true in the 2,319 pages of the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act which confers nearly unlimited power on various agencies to control by fiat the nation's financial, banking and investment sectors. The bill also creates new agencies, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, not subject to any oversight by Congress. This overall process was repeated numerous times with other legislation all with the intent of granting unfettered power to the executive branch controlled by Barack Obama and his radical associates.
Additionally, the Obama administration has, through its unilaterally determined rule making and regulatory powers, created laws out of whole cloth. The Environmental Protection Agency on a near daily basis issues new regulations clearly out of their purview in order to modify and change environmental laws previously passed and to impose a radical green agenda never approved by Congress. The same is true of the Energy and Interior Departments among many others.
None of these extra-constitutional actions have been challenged by Congress. The left in America knows this usurpation of power is nearly impossible to reverse unless stopped in its early stages.
It is clearly the mindset of this administration and its appointees that Congress is merely a nuisance and can be ignored after they were able to take full advantage of the useful idiots in the Democrat controlled House and Senate in 2009-2010 and the Democrat Senate in the current Congress.
Additionally, Barack Obama knows after his re-election a Republican controlled House and Senate will not be able to enact any legislation to roll back the power previously granted to the Executive Branch or usurped by them. His veto will not be overridden as there will always be at least 145 Democratic members of the House or 34 in the Senate in agreement with or intimidated by an administration more than willing to use Chicago style political tactics.
The stalemate between the Executive and Legislative Branches will inure to the benefit of Barack Obama and his fellow leftists.
The most significant power Congress has is the control of the purse-strings as all spending must be approved by them. However, once re-elected, Barack Obama, as confirmed by his willingness to do or say anything and his unscrupulous re-election tactics, would not only threaten government shutdowns but would deliberately withhold payments to those dependent on government support as a means of intimidating and forcing a Republican controlled Congress to surrender to his demands, thus neutering their ability to control the administration through spending constraints.
Further, this administration has shown contempt for the courts by ignoring various court orders, e.g. the Gulf of Mexico oil drilling moratorium, as well as stonewalling subpoenas and requests issued by Congress. The Eric Holder Justice Department has become the epitome of corruption as part of the most dishonest and deceitful administration in American history. In a second term the arrogance of Barack Obama and his minions will become more blatant as he will not have to be concerned with re-election.
Who will be there to enforce the rule of law, a Supreme Court ruling or the Constitution? No one. Barack Obama and his fellow-travelers will be unchallenged as they run roughshod over the American people.
Many Republicans and conservatives dissatisfied with the prospect of Mitt Romney as the nominee for president are instead focused on re-taking the House and Senate. That goal, while worthy and necessary, is meaningless unless Barack Obama is defeated. The nation is not dealing with a person of character and integrity but someone of single-minded purpose and overwhelming narcissism. Judging by his actions, words and deeds during his first term, he does not intend to work with Congress, either Republican or Democrat in his second term but rather to force his radical agenda on the American people through the power he has usurped or been granted.
The governmental structure of the United States was set up by the founders in the hope that over the years only those people of high moral character and integrity would assume the reins of power. However, knowing that was not always possible, they dispersed power over three distinct and independent branches as a check on each other.
What they could not imagine is the surrender and abdication of its constitutional duty by the preeminent governmental branch, the Congress, to a chief executive devoid of any character or integrity coupled with a judiciary essentially powerless to enforce the law when the chief executive ignores them.
Conservatives, Libertarians, the Republican Party and Mitt Romney must come to grips with this moment in time and their historical role in denying Barack Obama and his minions their ultimate goal. All resources must be directed at that end-game and not merely controlling Congress and the various committee chairmanships.

However, once re-elected, Barack Obama, as confirmed by his willingness to do or say anything and his unscrupulous re-election tactics, would not only threaten government shutdowns but would deliberately withhold payments to those dependent on government support as a means of intimidating and forcing a Republican controlled Congress to surrender to his demands, thus neutering their ability to control the administration through spending constraints.
Further, this administration has shown contempt for the courts by ignoring various court orders, e.g. the Gulf of Mexico oil drilling moratorium, as well as stonewalling subpoenas and requests issued by Congress. The Eric Holder Justice Department has become the epitome of corruption as part of the most dishonest and deceitful administration in American history. In a second term the arrogance of Barack Obama and his minions will become more blatant as he will not have to be concerned with re-election.
Who will be there to enforce the rule of law, a Supreme Court ruling or the Constitution? No one. Barack Obama and his fellow-travelers will be unchallenged as they run roughshod over the American people.
Many Republicans and conservatives dissatisfied with the prospect of Mitt Romney as the nominee for president are instead focused on re-taking the House and Senate. That goal, while worthy and necessary, is meaningless unless Barack Obama is defeated. The nation is not dealing with a person of character and integrity but someone of single-minded purpose and overwhelming narcissism. Judging by his actions, words and deeds during his first term, he does not intend to work with Congress, either Republican or Democrat in his second term but rather to force his radical agenda on the American people through the power he has usurped or been granted.
The governmental structure of the United States was set up by the founders in the hope that over the years only those people of high moral character and integrity would assume the reins of power. However, knowing that was not always possible, they dispersed power over three distinct and independent branches as a check on each other.
What they could not imagine is the surrender and abdication of its constitutional duty by the preeminent governmental branch, the Congress, to a chief executive devoid of any character or integrity coupled with a judiciary essentially powerless to enforce the law when the chief executive ignores them.
Conservatives, Libertarians, the Republican Party and Mitt Romney must come to grips with this moment in time and their historical role in denying Barack Obama and his minions their ultimate goal. All resources must be directed at that end-game and not merely controlling Congress and the various committee chairmanships.

It’s been eleven years and we still don’t know.
It’s been eleven years since the towers and Building 7 collapsed.
The extreme heat that melted the steel
Did not come from jet fuel and airplane impacts.
It was terrible. It was real.
Precisely placed thermite explosive charges.
Who did this? Who made the buildings blow?

Attorney General Holder Tied to OKC Bombers
This news is dated, December 18, 2011 to be exact, but I came across this when I was following up another lead. It will probably not surprise my regular readers that Obama's attorney general, Eric Holder, was involved in the Oklahoma City bombing, and that it was an FBI sting gone bad. Holder of late has been involved in Operation Fast and Furious a weapons smuggling operation with Mexico and its cover up.
You may recall that one of the ideas behind the Oklahoma City bombing was to introduce America to the war on terrorism and to make Americans afraid for their safety enough to pass the Patriot Act. This was another false flag operation run by the FBI, similar to the Gulf of Tonkin incident under LBJ.

How the feds are tracking us
This story came out several months ago. If all the FBI did was use the data to catch criminals it would be fine, but nooooo. With no limits on government, they can watch you just because they want to, claiming you are a "person of interest." It reminds me of the "thought police."

"American Sniper" by Chris Kyle
"American Sniper" is a book I recommend about a Navy Seal, Chris Kyle, and his life during the Iraq war 1999-2009. It is interesting because he includes notes from his wife, Taya, who loves and supports him even though his priorities are God, country and family in that order.

It creates a human form to represent our country. Imagery is a powerful technique to convey a message, a feeling an idea. The United States of America and our red white and blue flag has for the last century also conveyed several things, “power”, “compassion” and “loyalty”. No more, however. It has been replace with the “O” symbol; a first step to “changing America”. Obama is a misguided ideologue and a danger to our personal freedom and this country’s position as a symbol of power and good.
Will Uncle Sam trade his top hat for a “toweled head” as the Terrorists wish to see? The next election is for the heart as well as the soul of America . Will we return to a direction that fosters success, encourages self determination and recognition that with our freedom we also have a responsibility to use our skills in a manner that makes this a better place for future generations? Not through government action but through how we live, how we share, how we work and how we play will things become better and we will leave the world a better place.
If you have not seen 2016 make appoint to do it. It is not really a political statement but more the vetting of Obama that did not take place in 2008. Some of you may think my statements can not be true but read the “Affordable Health care Act” and you will see I am not making it up.

Gore's 'popular vote' scheme to ensure democrat rule?
It looks like Al Gore has been busy again messing around with and changing how we vote. The subheading reads, "Plan would see majority-Dem states decide presidency for all voters." It reminds me of how Europe was suddenly taken over by a small number of well-placed "leaders" and presto we had the euro. The individual countries lost their sovereignty. You don't here much in the controlled news media about America losing its sovereignty to the North American Union, that George Bush thought was so wonderful, but I believe that plan is alive and well with the UN and the Bilderbergs.

Feds anything but transparent on 'nude scanners'
Janet Napolitano and her TSA gropers would really scare terrorists by parading nude through the body scanners. I don't intend for that to make any more sense than does the whole TSA search process.
The Obama government knows better than you do what is best for you and is spending your dollars to protect you citizens against your ignorant yourselves. Those infant babies and children are really terrorists and must be searched. No profiling of possible terrorists is allowed.
