October 20th, 2015 The Day Your IRA/401(k) Dies

"October 20th, 2015. That date might not mean much to you now, but it will. In two short months the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is expected to meet and announce that it intends to replace the U.S. Dollar as the default reserve currency."

Not to alarm you, but that is a headline from Conservative Newsroom. I recommend that you check with your financial advisor.

Veterans Backlash Against Obama - We've had enough!

Speaking as one voice opposed to Obama's role in the military, I am totally disgusted with him and hios intential ruining of our country, and I would support and encourage violence as needed to rid the country of him and his lawless ilk.

Thanks George for the article.

"The Commander-in-chief is AWOL. Not a peep, although he ordered the White House flag flown at half-staff for the Sikhs that were killed. There is a deep disgust, a fury, growing in the ranks of the military against the indifferent incompetence of this president.

It has taken on a dangerous tone. No one knows what to do about him, but the anger runs deep as the deaths continue with no strategic end in sight to the idiocy of this war. Obama has had 5 years to end this futile insanity, during which time he has vacationed, golfed, campaigned, and generally ignored the plight of our men and women in uniform. Now, there is a movement afoot in the armed services to launch a massive get out the vote drive against this president."

Obama's perfect crisis

This is a long and a great article by David Kupelian because there have been many crises manufactured by Obama and his supporters.

Bruce

'One thing about Democrat politicians – they stick to their leadership’s talking points. And these days, the party script says Republicans have been busy manufacturing crisis after crisis to move forward their radical agenda, like shutting down the government and denying poor people health care.

The irony is total.
...
Republicans like Sen. Ted Cruz – for trying to prevent what everyone (including many Democrats) now openly admit is a gargantuan national health-care crisis manufactured entirely by Democrats – are accused by Democrats of “manufacturing crises.”

Psychologists have a term for this nasty personality quirk of accusing others of the evil you do. It’s called “projection” and is defined as “a defense mechanism that involves taking your own unacceptable qualities, feelings or actions and ascribing them to other people.”
...
The magic is over. Gone are the swooning crowds and fainting admirers of yesteryear, the almost hypnotic adoration of the Stepford media, the childlike hope of millions that “the One” would transform this nation – for which they inexplicably harbor so much bitterness – into a perfect utopia of “equality” and “social justice” (code words for big-time wealth redistribution).
...
In sum, Team Obama stands exposed as having relied on massive lies, bribery and fraud to engineer the intentional destruction of the greatest health-care delivery system in world history.

While health care has dominated center stage, other Obama-era scandals litter the D.C. political landscape like wreckage from a 50-car pile-up.
...
Creating and exploiting crises is not just a means of transforming America. It’s a means of transforming Americans.

An essential part of Obama’s attempted reimagining of America is keeping everyone upset, angry and off balance. So, when his administration attacks states that pass commonsense “voter ID” laws, or mandates that religious institutions violate their own faith by providing abortifacients and contraceptives to employees as part of their insurance coverage, more mischief is at work than meets the eye.
...
The one event that would be Barack Obama’s grand-slam homerun would be if, in response to the ever-increasing outrages and provocations of the left, someone on “the right” becomes unhinged and goes violent in a big way.

That terrible event would constitute the perfect answer to all Obama’s problems, the fulfillment of the left’s fondest dreams. Haven’t you wondered why the liberal media are always painting the tea party as racist without a shred of evidence, and are always hoping out loud that every new terror act or school shooting was perpetrated by a conservative?'

Obama finally fixing health care … in Kenya

Isn't it pathetic that Obama has serious financial and health care problems that he can't solve right here in the USA, but he is spending our taxpayers money to set up a healthcare system in Kenya?

Bruce

'Though the federal government is struggling to make Obamacare functional for Americans, the administration is simultaneously helping to upgrade the health-care system in Kenya.

The ambitious plan to expand health-care and social-services access to millions of Kenyans is one of several recent U.S. endeavors to surface, indicating that yet another spike in assistance to Kenya is taking place.

As WND reported, the U.S. Agency for International Development in June 2012 alerted contractors that its Kenyan aid portfolio was growing “exponentially.”

Now, the most recent endeavor is the enhancement of an existing “five-year mission supporting the centralized health-care system in Kenya.”

In addition to heaping the cost of the programs on U.S. taxpayers, part of the plan strips responsibilities from a U.S. contractor and transfers it to a Kenyan company, according to planning documents WND discovered via routine database research.'

The American Iron Curtain

Daniel Greenfield has written a great article. "It is a wall of words. A wall of laws, regulations and mandates." I never would have thought that this topic would be relevant to my blog of Freedom, but watching Obama and his Fabian, creeping gradualism in the military, foreign policy, education, Obamacare, our economy, and our laws makes me think otherwise.

Those who are old enough remember the Berlin wall and the Evil Empire's iron curtain, but there are many young people who do not and are subject to believing the revisionist history being taught in some leftist schools and universities. The mostly accepted official versions of what happened in New York on Septemer 11, 2001, the Oklahoma City bombing and the recent Boston Marathon coupled with the criminal fraud of Obama's "presidecy" and his czars makes me believe that there is a rotten philosophy in America that needs to be purged.

'In March 1946, Winston Churchill told a Missouri audience, “From Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic, an iron curtain has descended across the Continent. Behind that line lie all the capitals of the ancient states of Central and Eastern Europe. Warsaw, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Bucharest and Sofia.”

Today a new iron curtain is descending. It encloses the small Missouri town where Churchill gave his speech and all the great capitals of a great nation. Behind the iron curtain lie New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia and countless others.

It covers a million streets and hundreds of millions of people. Its shadow passes over stores and factories, homes and schools. It is not a physical wall. There are, as of yet, no border guards with rifles waiting to shoot those wanting to leave, there are no watchtowers or leashed dogs keeping an eye on the inner frontier.

It is a wall of words. A wall of laws, regulations and mandates. The 2012 Federal Register had 78,961 pages. There are 11 million words of ObamaCare regulations alone. With so many regulations, everyone violates a few of them without even knowing it. Assemble all the millions of them together and you have a great wall that would dwarf anything in China

The Incredible Shrinking President

With any luck Obama will shrink out of sight. The controlled news media has done a tremenous job and has done a tremendous disservice to the American citizen covering up Obama's incompetence.

"Looming over everything is a massive $17 trillion debt that is largely the result of incredibly inept decisions Obama made since taking office. The “stimulus” that pour billions into non-existent “shovel ready jobs”, the billions wasted on “renewable energy” companies that promptly went bankrupt, the takeover of General Motors that stiffed its creditors, and, of course, Obamacare.

The damage Obama has done to the U.S. will take the effort of several presidents to repair, assuming that the nation doesn’t implode from its debt and the declining value of the dollar. Obama’s solution is to raise taxes. Kennedy’s and Reagan’s was to lower them and thus speed recovery. Obama is a JERK."

The Making of a Paper Tiger … J. D. Longstreet

I believe that Obama is transforming America into a weak nation on purpose.

Bruce

'Obama is about to “transform” America’s military — and by extension — America, herself, into a “paper tiger.” The definition of a paper tiger is: “The nature of a person or organization that appears powerful but is actually powerless and ineffectual.” Remember that. You’re going to hear it often in the years ahead as our enemies refer to us in public.

Obama’s “sequestration” is going to leave America’s throat bare to her enemies. He is cutting our last line of defense, our nuclear arsenal, by roughly one-third, all to appease the Russians. (Mr. Putin’s Cheshire Cat grin just got even wider!)

THIS is what happens when an amateur goes up against a pro.

Obama just had his lunch eaten by Putin.

Obama actually appears AFRAID of Putin!
...
Obama is Russia’s dream for an American leader. He stumbles all over himself to be first on his knees before whomever the Russian leader is at the time, offering concessions yet uncalled for by the Russians. How could it get any better than this from the Russian perspective?

Sequestration, which WAS, indeed, Obama’s idea (or at least the idea of someone on his staff, which Obama adopted) is going to absolutely GUT the US military.'

America Over a Barrel

Doug Hagmann certainly give us plenty of food for thought with this article.

Bruce

'America finds itself “over a barrel” (perhaps literally), and at the precipice of financial Armageddon due to the coming collapse of the U.S. dollar. It is most important for people to understand that our financial destruction has been orchestrated for a generation or more, and has been intentionally accelerated over the last two decades to complete a specific agenda.

In order to survive what is coming, it is imperative to understand that agenda, who and what is behind it, and the motive. The bigger picture will connect some very important dots.
...
If you find it difficult to accept that we are operating as a “branch office” of the Saudis, then consider our current financial and geopolitical situation, and work backward. Consider the meteoric rise to power by Barack Hussein Obama. Do you really believe that he rose to power on the merits of his political career as a junior senator from Illinois? What about the funding his campaign received from foreign donations, that was noted as an anomaly, yet not audited to the point of precise origin. Could not much of that money be traced to Saudi Arabia, or to specific elements acting on their behalf?

How about Obama’s education, including (but not limited to) his acceptance into Harvard? Who footed the bill? A bit of investigative research points to funding that originated from a very wealthy Saudi prince. But at what cost, or with what strings?
...
It is Benghazi that provides a glimpse into the truth, and is the reason that the Obama regime has viciously fought against any attempts at getting to the truth. Truth will reveal that America, to further the agenda of the Saudis, was involved in the largest arms supplying operation in history. We were providing the anti-Assad rebels with the arms and technical assistance to overthrow Assad, destabilize Syria, and (like Egypt) install a puppet of the Muslim Brotherhood. For detailed information on Benghazi, I would urge readers to review my investigative series published on this site.

At this point, you might ask what this has to do with our domestic financial situation and the coming collapse of the dollar. Again, we must look at the larger picture.
...
What everyone has been witnessing, but failing to understand, is a geopolitical chess game being played by the globalist power brokers, or the international central bankers. Saudi Arabia is using the assets of the U.S. military, and building their pan-Islamic Kingdom on the blood and tears of our men and women. The Saudis are also instruments of the globalists, who are working overtime to implement a global currency and a world power structure.

This is the brainchild of decades and generations of planning by an elite group of people who have the money and power to restructure the world. They are the members of the various societies no one wants to talk about, or no one wants to admit exist. Their seat of power is located in a single square mile in London. They control the wealth of the globe.'

Women in foxholes

Major General Patrick Brady wrote this article and I agree with him. When you're in the military it can be very awkward when you and your boss disagree on policies, especially about the roles women should play.

When you have two losers, Obama and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, running the military, it's like an accident just waiting to happen.

Bruce

"Neither Obama nor Panetta has ever served in combat, nor has most of Congress. But worse, none of the current military leadership has had any serious combat (in the trenches) experience, and it is beginning to show.
...
I don’t know where the term girlie men came from, but it perfectly describes many in this administration and their military leaders.
...
The women had less disciplinary problems than the men. In administrative jobs, they were at least equal to men. But most could not carry their load physically – loading litters in choppers, carrying wounded to safety, even lifting tool chests. As a result the men covered for them, often causing us to use two people when one should have done the job – all of which effected readiness. They were not good in the field and became less functional when issues of hygiene, and feminine hygiene, literally knocked them out and we had to jerry-rig showers, wasting valuable time.

And they got pregnant, which took out key jobs at critical times. Other sexual distractions, favoritisms, fraternization and assault are also readiness disruptions and follow women throughout the military, even in our military academies.
...
I have said, and many men agree with me, that Adam’s rib was the greatest investment in human history. Why? Because God then gave man woman, a different creature, who complemented him. God did it on purpose, and we are privileged to live with the differences. Feminists et al., get over it. It is not discrimination to accommodate God’s design; it is acknowledging His will – it is wisdom.
...
What will be the reaction when a warrior sees his commanding officer dancing and romancing another man – or if he is hit on by a homosexual? Yet we are told these changes will improve readiness.

Sequestration, designed by President Obama, will, if allowed to kick in, emasculate what is left of our military. Aside from the cruel impact these budget cuts will have on military careers and families, they are perfectly suited to Obama’s isolationist goals. He is a rhetorical celebrity dedicated to social issues, i.e. same-sex marriage, gun control and government running just about everything. He is also a man intimidated by crises and the decisions they require. He is a voting-present leader, and we are learning he was not even present to lead during the massacre at Benghazi."

Obama’s Expanding Kill List

Maybe it will at some time be officially politically incorrect to read blogs whose author disagrees with Obama and his policies and who believes that Obama is a liar and a criminal fraud. At that point maybe we all could end up on his kill list.

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts wrote this article. "Dr. Paul Craig Roberts is the father of Reaganomics and the former head of policy at the Department of Treasury. He is a columnist and was previously the editor of the Wall Street Journal."

'Prosecutors always expand laws far beyond their intent.
...
We are now witnessing the expansion of Obama’s Kill List.
...
As Glenn Greenwald recently wrote, the power of government to imprison and to murder its citizens without due process of law is the certain mark of dictatorship. Dictatorship is government unconstrained by law.
...
Where is the government going with this? The most likely outcome is that everyone disliked or distrusted by those who have the power to add to the Kill List will find themselves on the list.
...
If we add up all the costs of the “war on terror,” it is obvious that the costs are many magnitudes greater than the terror threat that the war is alleged to contain. If terrorists were really a threat to Americans, shopping centers and electric substations would be blowing up constantly. Airport security would be a sham, because terrorists would set off the bombs in the crowded lines waiting to clear security.
...
The cost of the “war on terror” is not merely the multi-trillion dollar financial bill documented by Joseph Stiglitz and Linda Bilmes. The cost of Washington’s wars is the main reason for the large national debt, the threat of which politicians are using to destroy the social safety net. This is a huge cost for a pointless war that pleases Israel and enriches the armament companies but does nothing for Americans.

The financial cost is huge, but how important is this cost compared to another cost–the domestic police state supported by a significant percentage of the population and a majority in Congress and the media? Is the war on terror worth the evisceration of the US Constitution? A war that costs us the Constitution means our total defeat.
...
Will Americans wake up in time? I wish I could answer, “yes,” but I regret that Americans are an insouciant people. They are unaware. Americans are more concerned with sports events, sales, and which celebrities are sleeping together than they are with their liberty. Washington can create a police state, because there are insufficient citizens with the intelligence, education, and awareness to stop Washington.

Congress has accepted the police state and has given up too much of its power to the executive branch and is too beholden to the special interests that benefit from the police state to do anything about it.
...
The federal judiciary has proven to be almost as impotent. Federal judges did not ask federal prosecutors why, in violation of the whistleblower protection laws, they were prosecuting National Security Agency senior executive Thomas Drake for blowing the whistle on the NSA’s illegal spying on US citizens instead of the officials who broke the law and committed felonies.
...
The innocent and the truth-tellers were prosecuted. The criminals and the liars were not.
...
The destruction of truth and the law in the US is the legacy of 9/11. Both conservatives and the left-wing have bought into the government’s preposterous story that a few Saudi Arabians, unsupported by any government or intelligence agency, outwitted every institution of the National Security State and inflicted the most humiliating blow against a superpower in human history. They buy into this story despite unequivocal evidence that WTC building 7 came down at free fall speed, an event that can only occur as a result of controlled demolition.
...
Liberty is disappearing before our eyes.
...
Expect no help from “progressives,” who believe in Obama more than they believe in liberty.'

'Appearing on CBS today, Cheney said that the death from above program, and the accompanying kill list is a “good policy”, and constitutes the only part of Obama’s foreign policy that he agrees with.

Of course, Dick Cheney loves the assassination program. He loves assassination programs full stop. As the award-winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh revealed in 2009, Cheney had his own SS-style political assassination unit that reported directly to him while he was Vice President.

Hersh revealed how the Joint Special Operations Command was an executive assassination unit that carried out political`assassinations abroad. . “It is a special wing of our special operations community that is set up independently,” he explained at the time. “They do not report to anybody, except in the Bush-Cheney days, they reported directly to the Cheney office. … Congress has no oversight of it.”'

19 Unforgettable Quotes From Retiring General James 'Mad Dog' Mattis

Obama apparently wants to get rid of General James 'Mad Dog' Mattis, USMC, one of the country's best leaders. Apparently because he disagrees with Obama. To me, we should have more leaders like General Mattis. Quotes from him are excellent military advice.

'There are various ideas floating around concerning his possible exodus from active duty — Tom Ricks seems to think Mattis is being forced out for asking tough questions about Iran, or for advocating a smaller global footprint for the U.S. military.

As published in The American Spectator:
...
And Gen. Mattis didn’t just talk the talk; he walked the walk. He led from the front. Indeed, on at least one occasion that I know of, the General was bloodied from a firefight or improvised explosive device while out on patrol with junior, enlisted Marines one-third his age. That’s what makes Gen. Mattis such a great warrior: He truly respects and cares for his Marines.

“Guardiano,” he told me, “I don’t give a damn about the officers. If they don’t like what they’re doing, they can get on a plane and leave the Corps — go back where they came from. But I do care deeply about those 18- and 19-year-old Lance Corporals out on the frontlines.”'

Quotes from General Mattis:

'"If in order to kill the enemy you have to kill an innocent, don’t take the shot. Don’t create more enemies than you take out by some immoral act."

"I don’t lose any sleep at night over the potential for failure."

"Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet."

"I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you f*** with me, I’ll kill you all."

"Marines don't know how to spell the word defeat."

Mattis wants educated leaders that can be both book smart and be able to get the job done.

"In this age, I don’t care how tactically or operationally brilliant you are, if you cannot create harmony—even vicious harmony—on the battlefield based on trust across service lines, across coalition and national lines, and across civilian/military lines, you need to go home, because your leadership is obsolete. We have got to have officers who can create harmony across all those lines."

"Find the enemy that wants to end this experiment (in American democracy) and kill every one of them until they’re so sick of the killing that they leave us and our freedoms intact."

The General is a student of history and avid reader.

He often stresses the importance of education and training on building effective future leaders.'

Colonel’s class on radical Islam leaves career in limbo

Ron Paul Won’t Endorse Romney, Sees “Essentially No Difference”

'Ron Paul, the maverick Texas congressman who has twice run for the Republican presidential nomination, won’t endorse the nominee of his party. Though Paul said last week it was “very unlikely” he would endorse former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, he made it definitive in an interview October 12 on the CNBC program Futures Now.

“No,” he said, plainly and unequivocally, when asked about an endorsement. Neither the GOP challenger nor President Obama will change the course of fiscal and monetary policy that is leading to what has been called the “fiscal cliff,” Paul said, because both are captive of special interests. And neither will act to stop the Federal Reserve from papering over the growing chasm of debt by inflating the money supply in a policy called “quantitative easing.”

“Both [are] within the establishment where they need the Federal Reserve as lender of last resort to make sure that you can take all the risk in the world,” Paul said, describing the “Fed” as an essential prop of what is essentially a “one-party system” in which both Republicans and Democrats refuse to cut federal spending.

“I’ve been in this business a long time,” said the 12-term congressman, “and believe me, there is essentially no difference from one administration to another, no matter what the platforms [say]. The foreign policy stays the same, the monetary policy stays the same, there’s no proposal for any real cuts and both parties support it.”'

Defense contractors told: don't issue layoff notices

"(The Hill) The Obama administration issued new guidance intended for defense contractors Friday afternoon, reiterating the administration’s position that the companies should not be issuing layoff notices over sequestration.

The Labor Department issued guidance in July saying it would be “inappropriate” for contractors to issue notices of potential layoffs tied to sequestration cuts. But a few contractors, most notably Lockheed Martin, said they still were considering whether to issue the notices — which would be sent out just days before the November election.

But the Friday guidance from the Office of Management and Budget raised the stakes in the dispute, telling contractors that they would be compensated for legal costs if layoffs occur due to contract cancellations under sequestration — but only if the contractors follow the Labor guidance."

'Training Iraqis and Afghans to maintain western-style security is a waste of time and U.S. military leaders are so afraid of offending people that they refuse to do what’s necessary to win.

That’s the thesis of a very blunt book by former U.S. Navy SEAL Carl Higbie, entitled “Battle on the Homefront: A Navy SEAL’s Mission to Save the American Dream.”

Higbie tells us of his two tours in Iraq and the stunningly inept Iraqis he was ordered to train.

“It was unfathomable how dumb the people were over there,” Higbie told WND. “It’s difficult to get them to do basic tasks such as reading a map or doing jumping jacks. And we’re giving them guns!”'
