With 9/11 americans experienced Washington’s version of these grand lies. 'Last week, former CIA Director David Petraeus told Congress he knew immediately that the attack on our consulate in Benghazi was an orchestrated act of terrorism and it was described as such in CIA talking points. 'Friday evening, while readying to board a plane to Tel Aviv from John F. Kennedy Airport, I casually observed Israelis and some American Jews and Christians in the waiting lounge. Many live without heat, hot water or inhabitable homes and question the government’s efforts to alleviate their condition.

Amid the election frenzy, several mainstream media outlets instantly praised the Obama administration’s response to the Hurricane Sandy devastation in the Northeast. But let’s look beneath the congratulatory headlines to see the real and horrifying picture of what’s happening.

Right now, homeless Americans are literally freezing, wrapped in blankets and trash bags as they struggle to survive in FEMA tent cities such as New Jersey’s “Camp Freedom,” which reportedly “resembles a prison camp.”

Sotelo said Blackhawk helicopters patrol the skies “all day and night” and a black car with tinted windows surveys the camp while the government moves heavy equipment past the tents at night. According to the story, reporters aren’t even allowed in the fenced complex, where lines of displaced residents form outside portable toilets. Security guards are posted at every door, and residents can’t even use the toilet or shower without first presenting I.D.

“They treat us like we’re prisoners,” Ashley Sabol told Reuters. “It’s bad to say, but we honestly feel like we’re in a concentration camp.”

Snow and icy slush seep into living areas through the bottoms of the government tents.

Meanwhile, officials are said to be banning residents from taking pictures and even cutting off WiFi and power access.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, FEMA failed to have bottled water and other supplies ready for storm victims – a week after the storm hit – and was forced to seek help from private vendors to meet residents’ needs.

While generous citizens fill trucks with donations and goods for hurricane survivors, FEMA is reportedly demanding they stop – because the federal agency has “strict rules on what can and can’t be accepted.”

To make matters worse, FEMA now expects Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to appear before Congress and request a taxpayer bailout for FEMA flood-insurance operations while it burns through $200 to $300 million a day.'

The answer is quite simple, so I'll keep it short.

(1) The enemies of liberty (let's call them collectivists) are in control of the major power centers of our nation: political parties, government branches and agencies, media, educational system, labor unions, financial institutions, military, and the like. They have that control because, for the past 100 years, they consciously pursued it while others shunned the struggle for power.

(2) Nothing will change until collectivists are dislodged from control of these power centers and replaced by those who believe that the state should serve the people not that people should serve the state (let's call them individualists).

(3) This will not happen without one heck of a fight. Those who now rule will not give up easily and will use every conceivable dirty trick to maintain and even expand their power. Therefore, the answer to the question of "what to do" is this: Individualists must quit being observers and complainers and become activists. They must network with others of like mind and confront collectivists head-on in all the major power centers – and they must keep doing it after defeat after defeat until, finally, they have acquired sufficient numbers and organizational skills to prevail.

Running a company that manufactures products in America I have found it a challenge to find those willing to do the work for a reasonable price. I have been advised by others to use cheaper China labor more times than I can remember. Fire protection is important, but without business we have no fire protection, law enforcement, regulatory agencies, public sector jobs, all part of a system built by capitalism and our freedoms and rights to conduct free trade.

The first time Americans voted in President Obama could be described as an understandable mistake. His speeches were very seductive to those that didn't understand or those that have been removed from what drives our country forward and what our country was truly built upon.

But twice?

I see this election to show our country has turned its back against business, against freedom and yes, even against the extreme efforts I have made, as well as many others like me to keep our country first in our business decisions.

While the jobs lost to overseas by a company my size may be just a few, the countless other companies that may be forced to make the same decision now are without doubt a major impact to our nation.

I fear that both the left's and right's individual retirements, based upon our stock market, will soon show the loss of faith in our government. A fiscally irresponsible leader does not and cannot foster an environment of investment security.

I, for one, was striving to see something in Obama's first four years to get behind — something that could help me to hold my head up high when the eyes of the world look our direction. I have failed to find anything note worthy.

He is an excellent speaker, a well-groomed man who is well poised and spoken. A man with a beautiful family with shining faces and smiles. However, his actions speak of a man that is either ignorant to the workings and needs of this country or, worse yet, indifferent to them.

How can so many intelligent, good-hearted people see him in a light so different than I do? How can those I know so well, who have similar upbringings and education see in him a man worthy of giving their valued vote and trust.

I have always stood behind our elected president and will continue to do so with the belief that there is more in God's plan than I am able to see. I am still proud to have friends on either side of the political chasm.

My words here are truly meant to express a quick release of confusion over how so many can be so far apart ideologically. I am left with prayer and a concern for the future of my wife and two children in a country where it truly appears freedom and opportunity is being eroded.

Hope for our country's future is never lost. We are an incredibly resilient people.

However, I find it increasingly more difficult to bring hope for our country into focus after such an election.

If the phrase, "It takes a village to raise a child" has any truth to it, then quite possibly, it may take a country to raise a good president. Lend your voices to causes you see that need a voice. Let those in government know your concerns. This can be done all the way down to your local representatives. You might keep in mind to do so in a way that shows respect, even if you feel you have been shown little respect yourself.

Problem solving seldom comes through bickering. I would hope that you stay true to your beliefs but do not stagnate due to a closed mind.

It's been said that there is always opportunity for growth in times of conflict. My desire is to see growth in all sides, as after this election, it appears we could all use some.

May God guide and protect those that govern this great country, as well as the governed."

Obama’s plan to turn the sovereignty of the USA over to the United Nations is already well under way. The UN Small Arms Treaty will be signed by Obama and it will effectively remove and replace the former Bill of Rights’ Second Amendment, while the First Amendment will be replaced with “hate speech” restrictions…punishable by new global laws.

The Obama government’s war on Christianity has been in play since the early months of his ‘presidency’. Reaction and Response

Ed B. summed up the election of Obama very well, so I copied it! As a veteran, I wonder if the American servicemen and servicewomen could have seen what America has become, if they would have fought so hard to protect it. I don't think that Ed believes as I do that Obama is deliberately trying to damage the US and Obama lies to help make his plan work. Ed and I share the concern that our grandchildren will not come to know America as the land of opportunity and free speech that he and I have loved.

"Well the counting is almost over and what have we learned? That this country is just as divided as it was before the election. With over 100 million plus voters casting ballots yesterday we have less than 2% more who voted for “The Anointed One” than Romney. The voters who went with this incumbent broke out along traditional lines with few exceptions.

Social Issues --

Abortion and women’s issues drove more single women to vote for Obama than Romney. What does it say about society and these voters who find it more important to have an “out” after unprotected sex than it is to have jobs to feed themselves and a secure country to live in?

Gay and Lesbians voted with a vast plurality for Obama over the “perceived right” to have a union called marriage afforded them.

Age Bias --

Almost 19% (up from 18% in 2008) were voters under age 30. Despite the fact that they have suffered more in the employment or lack there of category -- they went 2 to 1 for Obama. Why? If Obama had been a white guy he would not have been elected in 2008. He lacks any of the credentials one would expect to get anyone’s vote. Do these folks know what it is to lead. Do they understand that taxing to pay for their freebies you need a lot of folks to work.

Union vs. non union –

In key states the “auto bailout” which screwed the bond holders and stockholders and protected the union membership had union households paying Obama back with a 61% or better of the vote. The rule of law was not followed in that bailout and Obama thinks he can avoid any law he doesn’t like and no one will call him on it.

Minorities –

Non Cuban minorities went overwhelmingly for Obama, promises of ‘08 were not kept for immigration reform but it didn’t seem to matter. The idea of being able to do anything you want and not conform to rules and laws doesn’t seem to matter anymore and these folks expect that all will be forgiven and they can stay and vote..

Religion –

Although evangelicals broke overwhelmingly for Romney there just weren’t enough of them to make a difference. We have more and more folks who do not feel they are connected to any religion. This country is becoming more secular every day. Those who believe in God and have values shaped by a set of religious principles that they follow are dying away.

The Fourth Estate –

There is no unbiased reporting today in either print or electronic media. That CBS can withhold for 6 weeks evidence that Obama LIED about Libya is criminal and the evidence that the reporters and main street (lame street) media were openly rooting for Obama is undisputable.

The visual image of Obama touring NJ with Christie was powerful and was the deciding factor for 15% of those who voted. The fact that the handling of this disaster is just as bad by Obama and as was portrayed by the media of Bush we see no evidence from TV or print to that affect.

It may be that Obama will face possible impeachment over Libya yet. Once the stuff comes out and he won’t be able to hide. The media may find itself scrambling or maybe they will “cover it up” for their chosen leader.

Republicans –

It may be that the Republicans need to think about who and what they are and who and what there is out there who will control the national elections. Latinos are a big factor in today’s USA . An “entitlement” mindset is very evident in today’s world. Thirty states have Republican Governors now, one of the largest ins modern times. Can they start reshaping the educational infrastructure to return the teaching of basic values of hard work, patriotism and service to our country into the classrooms? If we do not start the shaping of these young minds to love of country, respect for law and service to one another directly and not though government programs we are doomed to repeat the disasters of Western Europe ’s socialism experiments. It is time to those for us left to not loose sight of the responsibility we each have to do whatever we can since change starts with one person at a time.

Obama got Putin’s and Chavez’s endorsement, most of Europe and Fidel’s as well. He has shown a lack of will to confront Islamist extremist and has all but abandoned Israel . The fact that the Jews in Florida and NY/NJ still voted for him suggests that he is safe in that position BUT I predict we will see Israel attacked and probably eliminated within the next two years as a result of our stance and seemingly unwillingness to defend them as if it were we being attacked.

World conflict will occur and we will not be equipped to deal with it.

I am sorry that the world that I have known will not be the one my grandsons will know, the lack of economic health will weaken us in every way and we will never again be the leader of the free world. This is very disheartening.

YouTube user TheVisualEdge explained that he assembled the seven-minute video “to get people excited about the election.” The user notes, “I was not hired or paid to create this.” The video description refers users to a website for Hollywood Director Chris Corrado.

'Well this week we will see if the citizen (hopefully that will be who is actually voting) will determine if we will have four more years of the “progressive” agenda offered by “The Anointed One”; or if we return to a program that encourages personal initiative, personal responsibility and the rule of law as proscribed by our Constitution.

The progressive movement in the USA has its foothold being established by Woodrow Wilson and advanced significantly by FDR. Too bad we didn’t have a limitation on the number of terms one could be president back then, we might have been able to recover form FDR’s socialism programs. For some reason folks when faced with uncertainty and hardship always seems to look for Uncle Sam to bail them out. JFK/LBJ, Carter and to a lessor extent Nixon, Clinton and Bush (“W”) all advanced progressive agendas. They all felt that government had the right and responsibility to create programs to advance social justice. Social Justice is a code word for Socialism/Communism like systems. The Community Organizer currently residing at 1600 Penn Ave is more over the top than even FDR in believing that big government and its extended reach into our lives is the best solution to a fair society.

This social experiment that our fore fathers established has survived wars, natural disasters and ideological attacks from the left and the right. Progressivism is not a disease of just the left. The Nazis, the totalitarian rule of the Mullahs and the Japanese warlords all practice a form of progressivism. For at the root of progressivism is the belief that a central force (the government) is better and more capable of deciding how we should live our life. What choices we make e.g. how many children we should have, how much education we are allowed and what beliefs we should be allowed to have in order that society function in a fair and equitable way.

The progressivism of the right may be more harsh on the surface but the siren song offered by the left (free education, equal share) is just as constrictive and destructive to individual liberty.. Once you sign up for the “free lunch” you give up your liberty. Once you utter “why doesn’t the government make a law to deal with that” you give up liberty. Self reliance and self respect go together. Is it any wonder that we have become a society that seems to need daily does of Prozac? Once you become a servant of the government rather than the government being the servant of the people we no longer are a “free country”

The “European Model” of socialism has an intellectual appeal and the “good order and fairness” sound nice but put into practice we see a sub-optimized society. We seem more folks forgetting how to rely on their own initiatives and expecting hand outs. One other appealing tenet is that progressives feel no one should fail. Part of liberty is allowing everyone the right to venture into whatever they want and being allowed to fail. Failure produces knowledge every bit as important as what we learn from success and sometimes more beneficial since we see if we have the fortitude to get ourselves up and refocus our energy and do better the next time.

This week we have a choice and the test for the American voter is do we try to return to a country that fosters individual initiative, recognizes that each should have a right to success but that it isn’t guaranteed? Vote your conscience and may God guide your thinking, and may God Bless America . Vote for love of country do not vote for revenge as Obama has called for. Our country deserves better from you.
