"Appeal still pending for soldier who fired in self-defense." This is how our country thanks our soldiers for their bravery. Similar to the SEALs who were punished rather than give them medals. If a soldier makes a mistake during a war and kills an enemy thinking he was going for his gun, what do you expect in a war?
