LITMUS TEST DOESN’T QUITE MAKE THE CUT

According to Townhall.com's Washington Beat:

"The GOP held their winter meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii, last week, and rejected a push by the party’s more conservative members to adopt a 10-point litmus test future candidates would need to pass in order to receive campaign funding. The test, proposed by Alabama GOP Chairman James Bopp, received widespread support from southern Republicans, but was rebuffed by national Chairman Michael Steele who eventually put his weight behind a more flexible test."
