We Lieutenant Colonels gotta stick together!
Bruce
Dear Fellow Patriot,
Do you believe our country and its values are under constant attack by our enemies?
Do you think too many of our leaders in Washington are not doing enough to stand up and fight for what is right?
I sure do.
After serving for over two decades in the military, I've seen our enemies in action. I watched in Iraq and Afghanistan as our dedicated young men and women fought to keep our country strong and free.
If only our leaders in Congress showed the same courage and determination to defeat our enemies as those fine young members of our Armed Services do.
I know you'll agree with me that our leaders seem to be out of touch and straying from the agenda we need to stay strong.
We've watched while Congress is debating a national takeover of our healthcare system.
We've seen Congress literally throw away billions of dollars bailing out Wall Street executives while unemployment grows on a daily basis.
And after another terrorist attack occurred on our own soil at Fort Hood, our leaders once again have put their heads in the sand and are trying to explain away this attack as just an isolated incident by a troubled soldier.
I don't know about you, but I'm tired of watching opportunities to stand up for freedom pass us by.
So I decided to run for Congress.
I'm running as a proud, strong conservative who believes America is the world's best hope for maintaining and growing freedom across the globe.
I believe that our government's spending is out of control and I'll oppose pork barrel projects that do nothing but line the pockets of politicians and lobbyists.
I will bring my traditional American values to Washington with me. I'm guided by my faith and a strong commitment to family and community.
As a former lieutenant colonel, I'll support military policies that will find our enemies and destroy them before they have a chance to come after us again.
But running for Congress is not an easy task.
