This is Ginger at 8 weeks being held by our daughter Cindy.
Beth and I visited Cindy this weekend and we picked up our new puppy in Nashua, NH. Cindy had graciously offered to hostess the event and held Ginger during her first car ride back to Cindy's place.
Beth and I stopped just once at a rest area going back to Connecticut, and Ginger figured out what to do. She (Ginger) enjoys running with me in the yard, with her little legs going as fast as they can go. I can stay ahead of her, but just barely. Last night, Beth and I finished watching TV at about 1 AM and I took Ginger out. Then again at 3:30, 5 and 7:30. Let's see, didn't Cindy want me to call her whenever Ginger wanted to go out? Since Cindy got up with Ginger the first night, I suspect that this email summary will suffice.
The new lights in the back yard helped a lot. It has been raining since midnight and Ginger enjoys being dried off with a towel when we come back in. There have been no accidents. Nor have there been any repeats of Ginger's infamous liver treat fart that about wiped out our son and his wife, Kevin and Laurie.
