World Net Daily reports, 'A new attack by the Southern Poverty Law Center charges the tea-party movement is "shot through" with radical ideas and tied with "hate groups," "furious anti-immigrant vigilante groups" and "so-called 'Patriot' groups."'
To me the tea-party movement is reflects a normal person's thinking and the Southern Poverty Law Center relects an irrational person's thinking. I don't see how they can label the tea party a hate group.
According to the Southern Poverty Law Center web site, "All hate groups have beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people, typically for their immutable characteristics. Hate group activities can include criminal acts, marches, rallies, speeches, meetings, leafleting or publishing."
