How To Win The Next Election

I was thinking ahead to the next election and how we conservatives can win the Congress in a landslide if we do the right things. There is plenty of discontent with the Democrats in Congress right now.

First and foremost, win the election by bringing the conservatives together into one group. I see a possible 4-way split with conservatives voting against Democrats, and we will lose again big time again unless we unite. Think of the way we all lost when the Democrat Bill Clinton won running against a split vote between Republicans and Conservatives. We need a simple selection, vote for a Democrat or vote for a non-Democrat. Now I see Democrats vs, Tea Party, GOOOH, Republican, Ron Paul (4 way split).

For example, Michelle Malkin recently observed on December 18 that the following non-Democrat groups were all opposed to the government’s takeover of healthcare. In an election wouldn’t it be better to have all of that Democrat opposition speaking as one?

“Social conservatives, fiscal conservatives, the GOP leadership, Sarah Palin's heartland supporters, conservative think-tank intellectuals, D.C. and Manhattan conservatives, Big Business and small-business conservatives, Joe the Plumber conservatives, and every stripe and flavor of conservative in between are all united against the Democrats' proposed government takeover of health care. All.”

Tea Party, GOOOH, Republican, Conservative? How to resolve the 4-way split? I pick Conservative.

Thinking forward to the next Congressional election, I first thought I’d go with GOOOH (Get Out Of Our House), their message is simple: get rid of the entire House of Representatives and replace them with GOOOH members having term limits and honesty. But they are just starting. What do they do next? Not enough name recognition or time to build it. But they could run as Conservative not the GOOOH party.

What of the Tea Party? Lots of support but name recognition is not enough, news and TV didn’t cover their protest. Same idea, they could run as Conservative not the Tea Party.

Republican candidate? I don’t want to go with the disgusting Republican Party again. They are oftentimes as dishonest and greedy as Democrats. Plus you have RINOs, (Republicans In Name Only) like from Maine. Republicans, at least the current crop, are not leaders. They cave as soon as someone wants to compromise. Spineless. The only thing that Republicans have to offer is the name recognition. Everybody everywhere knows that they oppose Democrats.

Therefore, go with conservative party congressional candidates, similar to Ron Paul. Honest. Easier to gain name recognition. Not Republican. Tea party and GOOOH would support. Ron Paul would take a leadership position. Switch your party affilition *now* at your town registrar of voters and get to work with yard signs and bumper stickers to build name recognition!

In summary,
1. Pick one (Conservative candidate) not four and get platform positions that you can support.
2. Include everybody who is not a Democrat and be ready to win a landslide.
3. Win first, then squabble over the small stuff. To not win is unacceptable.
4. Don’t worry about the media not liking you. I guarantee they won’t.

Update January 6, 2010
On the basis of new information, I have changed my position. Realizing the tremendous benefit of the large organization the Republican Party already has in place, we can put it to work for us conservatives. Details in a comment I made to this post. We can focus on results. See The Precinct Project which is where I would like to spend time. We keep our GOOOH people as part of the organization and don't have to worry about name recognition, just promote the candidates.

  1. I agree with you about coming together as one force, but why Ron Paul - he has already proven he is not electable. Kate from Watkinsville, GA

  2. Bruce, don't give up on GOOOH so soon. Tim Cox, founder of GOOOH appeared on Fox and Friends a couple of weeks ago and gained almost 30,000 new members. We have had 700,000 new visits to the site; over 100,000 watchers and now have almost 50,000 members. We are one appearance on a national show from reaching our critical mass of 500,000 members in order to implement the GOOOH plan. In Texas, we have until May to get on the ballot as an Independent. Each state has it's own ballot requirements and GOOOH is staged and ready to pull the trigger as soon as we hit that number. GOOOH is on the threshold of changing the face of politics in America for ever.
All please go to www.GOOOH.com and join - we need you membership, not your money.

  3. Hi,

This is Bruce again. Thank you for your comments Kate and Mark. Mark I joined GOOOH several months ago, about the same time as I joined Oath Keepers. There is a large movement already in place in the Republican party, The Precinct Project, that fits our needs exactly.

I'll repeat a post I made earlier this morning to Dodd Is Dead on Oathkeepers. I had decided against Republicans because they are as greedy as Democrats, but if the party is getting together as real conservatives, not RINOs, we can support it. Here is the post:

Yes!!!! It is a great day for America.

I received a message from Cold Warrior about The Precinct Project. This is about a very powerful position in the republican party one notch above everyone who votes. It is the precinct chairmen who decide as a group who the candidates for office will be. The precinct chairman's slot is frequently empty due to lack of interest. I am going to find out about my precinct. Read this link for more info. It is a fairly long read, about 20 minutes, 3 articles plus a video, but it is well worth spending the time. http://theprecinctproject.wordpress.com/
