Rules of engagement

I received the following mail from Ed D. yesterday. Ed still suffers from exposure to the Agent Orange defoliant used in Vietnam.

"In Vietnam the rules (early 62s) were "do not fire until fired at". We all know the result. Secondly captured VC were sent to an re-education canter. There all battle related issues: health, food, and rest were addressed. They would be deemed re-educated and released to fight for the VC again.

The Nobama control of our military is now the same. It will garner the same results. Death for our boys and a catastrophic loss.

Does history teach us nothing? The military got freedom to peruse war without politicians resulting in Desert storm type victories. Now Nobama is controlling battle rules of engagement. Can we expect a different ending from Vietnam?"

Ed,

I share your frustration with this illegitimate president. As Rush Limbaugh pointed out, he is not incompetent. Rather he does his bumbling with the purpose of doing as much harm to the USA as possible, and that makes him despicable and evil, along with the see-nothing news media, his pals in the Senate and the House, and the do-nothing courts in cases involving him, like incredible fraud and not defending our borders.

And I don't see an end in sight.

Bruce
