This heading intrieged me, because it was said in Germany about the rounding up of the Jews. A law would be passed and certain groups would suddenly be illegal. The people would be jailed and sent to the death camps in boxcars on a one-way train trip.

There are similarities in this country, starting with the NDAA bill that Obama recently signed into law on December 31, 2011, and his renewal of the Patriot Act that he assured us he would not.

I updated this post to clarify the explanations and to include new key words (labels). For example, I added "Posse Comitatus" and "NDAA" to track these heavily used terms in recent articles. I added "Soros" because George Soros' name kept coming up in the articles. (If you want to skim to get the flavor of the blog, try "Soros" as your search phrase, and read the stories that come up.) "Cecil Rhodes" leads to a fascinating story. "ACORN" is very informative as it is Obama's old stomping ground.

At the assisted living center I've met a lot of people who are confused by trying to use a computer, and who don't know what a blog is. The purpose of writing this is to provide help for people reading my blog. A blog, short for weB LOG, is a tool for sharing information. It is like sharing a magazine or newspaper that you can read on your computer. There are blogs on such varied topics as autos, dating, movies, politics, recipes, vacation sites, humor, health, sports, etc. I was alarmed (I still am!) at the direction I saw our country headed in 2009 (Socialism), so I write to warn family and friends about that. Whatever topic you pick there is probably a blog to read. If not, you can start one of your own.

Generally when you find a page on my blog, it contains a summary of a longer article. Click the heading to read the article. Or there may be text in a different color (a link) to click to read a supporting article. (Or nothing happens if there is no link from that heading.)

Many blogs put key words (labels) following the stories to make them easier to find. Use the Search window (top left) to look for labels and create a list of stories containing them. Or search for specific words that you choose. Then click the picture of the magnifying glass on the right side of the search window to start looking. For example on my blog, "Agenda 21", "Bilderberg", "eligibility to serve" and "medical issue" are some of the labels I used.

The sequence I use to display items: 1)heading, 2)my comments, 3)quotes from the article, 4)key words (labels). Click the heading to read the article.

For posts containing a video, I show how much time it takes to play, rounding up to the next minute.

One of my readers liked to read this blog daily while drinking his morning coffee. He was very helpful in suggesting content too.

It would need to be something that the people would rush to participate, to prevent the perceived bad or deadly outcome. If food and water was only available in Wal-Mart stores, would you hurry to get in line? A disaster could have "broken" the normal pipe lines.

If this power grab is for more than the USA and its Constitution, likely Obama would have to coordinate with the UN. The UN needs to be at the leadership position of the world government, or the New World Order.

I expect the unusual to happen. This is his last chance to have a "national emergency." I don't think that Obama is ready to play dead yet or to give up what he has as a result of his false "presidency." It is now common knowledge that Obama lied when he said he would shut down Guantanamo Bay. As it turns out, Obama actually signed the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) on New Year's Eve (when no one would notice). The NDAA grants the U.S. government the claimed "legal" right to "indefinitely detain" U.S. citizens, throw them in secret military prisons, interrogate them and even kill them with no due process. Obama quietly signed this bill on New Year's Eve, hoping no one would notice. This is how low his morals have stooped, by the way -- to signing traitorous bills in the dark of night, on the evening before a major holiday where half the nation is hung over from alcohol. Why no signing ceremony with full coverage by CNN, huh? Maybe it's because national traitors don't want their crimes against the United States Constitution to be filmed on camera.

In signing this, Obama violated his own oath of office, nullified the U.S. Bill of Rights, and essentially committed an act of mass civil rights violations against the People of America. Rep. Ron Paul, on the other hand, is one of the very few people who has openly and sternly opposed this unlawful NDAA which blatantly and arrogantly violates the U.S. Constitution and its Bill of Rights.

GPS

A couple of weeks ago a friend told me that someone she knew had their car broken into while they were at a football game. Their car was parked on the green which was adjacent to the football stadium and specially allotted to football fans. Things stolen from the car included a garage door remote control, some money and a GPS which had been prominently mounted on the dashboard.

When the victims got home, they found that their house had been ransacked and just about everything worth anything had been stolen. The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house. They then used the garage remote control to open the garage door and gain entry to the house. The thieves knew the owners were at the football game, they knew what time the game was scheduled to finish and so they knew how much time they had to clean out the house. It would appear that they had brought a truck to empty the house of its contents.

Something to consider if you have a GPS - don't put your home address in it.. Put a nearby address (like a store or gas station) so you can still find your way home if you need to, but no one else would know where you live if your GPS were stolen.

MOBILE PHONES

I never thought of this.......

This lady has now changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which contained her cell phone, credit card, wallet... Etc...was stolen.

20 minutes later when she called her hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened, hubby says 'Ireceived your text asking about our Pin number and I've replied a little while ago.' When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text 'hubby' in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their bank account.

Moral of the lesson: Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list.

Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc....

And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back.

Also, when you're being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet 'family and friends' who text you.

Are you getting this yet? So the authority ALREADY exists for the President to order the killing of an American citizen. All that is required is that they be suspected of being involved in terrorism in any way, and not a shred of evidence is required by the government to support that. There is no trial, no arraignment, no evidence and not even a hearing. You are simply accused and then disappeared.

So then, you might be wondering, "What kinds of activities could get me accused of being involved in supporting terrorism?"

And here's the kicker, because all the following activities could cause you to be arrested, detained, interrogated and even murdered all under U.S. law, thanks to Obama:

• Criticizing the federal government.
• Using cash to purchase things.
• Storing food and medical supplies.
• Owning a firearm and storing ammunition.
• Standing still and minding your own business near a government building.
• Writing something down on a piece of paper near a government building.
• Using a pair of binoculars.
• Protesting for animal rights in front of a medical lab.
• Protesting your government (or Wall Street).
• Requesting to take more than a couple thousand dollars out of your bank account in cash.

You see, under existing authority, you could be labeled a "terror suspect" for engaging in any of these activities, and then LEGALLY arrested, detained, interrogated or even killed by the U.S. government, all under Obama's authority (or whatever next President takes over in Washington and perhaps does far worse things with that power...)

Get this through your heads, folks: to properly understand the NDAA (or any other bill), you have to learn to think like lawyers and tyrants.

They don't just put language right out in plain view that says, "Americans may never be arrested or detained without due process." Instead, they create a web of legalese statements that are cross-referenced, paraphrased and specifically engineered to obfuscate their intended purpose. This is designed to hide their true intentions, not to make them clear.

I did not watch this GOP debate but I was scanning the comments to get the gist of it. These comments caught my attention because of a discussion I attended at the assisted living facility where I live. Please see “Barack Obama’s Plan To Overthrow Our Republic” in the last comment below. Most of the group at yesterday's discussion seemed unable to accept the possibility of associating martial law and detention in concentration camps with Obama. This hesitancy to associate anything bad with Obama I think comes from not getting any news other than that from the TV and newspapers that are the controlled news media.

I could have come across as an extremist for discussing this, which is what Obama loyalists try to label people who disagree with him. The people at the discussion have been warned, though.

What good is a president who will allow this cancer to spread here to globalism? Paul totally owned both Gingrich and Santorum. I think Newt managed to offend nearly every veteran and active duty service member with his frantic attempts to cover up his chicken hawk draft dodging. Romney came off looking like a good natured gentleman (which he probably is, despite the fact I’d never vote for him). Why that idiot Georgie Porgie tried to nail him on states banning contraception was total Alice in Wonderland. First of all it was ridiculous, and second of all Santorum is the one to whom the question should have been directed.

Someone should put smarmy Diane Sawyer and even smarmier George Stephanopolous out of our misery. Watching them smirk, and listening to the idiotic questions, was almost physically painful.

There is no question that the Constitution doesn't allow government any such powers as these, regardless of the morons in Congress and the White House who approved this, or the politically motivated judges, who might find it Constitutional.

This law gives the federal government the powers of the Soviet, or Nazi secret police, to drag people off the street, or out of their beds in the middle of the night, never to be heard of again. The definition of "terrorist" will become much more flexible, but it won't matter anyway, since there is no legal recourse they'll just deny any knowledge of the missing. No government can be trusted with this sort of power; it will eventually be used against political enemies and then against anyone that the government of the day finds bothersome.

I am not running for office so I can say things which Dr. Paul cannot say. So let me be clear, we are living in a corrupt police state. Not moving towards it, but in it now. Our freedoms and protections from tyranny have already been stripped away. Not eroding... GONE.
